Chicago Midway airport lies 20km south-west of the city centre. The local Orange Line train is the easiest and most affordable way to travel into the city.
Train
The Orange Line trains are run by the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA). Normal travel time to downtown Chicago is 20-25 minutes. When the train isn't running, take the N62 Archer bus.

Taxi
Taxi stands are located curbside on the lower level of the Main Terminal. Fares are metered.
Cost: USD 28-30 to downtown, plus tip
Bus
Buses are available through the CTA service (Routes 47, 54B, 55, 55A, 55N, 62N, 62H, 63, 63W) and PACE services (Route 379, 382, 383, 384, 385, 386, 390).

Express Shuttle
The Go Airport Express shuttle offers a door-to-door service to and from Midway and most city and suburban neighbourhoods. Departures are about every 15 minutes.
