Fuerteventura Airport is located 5 km away from Puerto del Rosario, the capital of Fuerteventura. It is approximately 35 minutes away from the resorts in Corralejo. The airport has a single terminal with two levels:
The ground level is divided between Arrivals (left) and Departures (right). It houses check-in desks, arrivals hall, and baggage reclaim.
The first level houses the security check, departures lounge, restaurants, and departure gates.
There is a new security control south of the departures hall with X-ray machines for families with young children and persons with reduced mobility.
Line 3 runs between the airport and the capital of the island and the tourist areas of Caleta de Fuste and Las Salinas. Cost: EUR 1.40.
Line 10 runs between the airport and the capital of the island and the tourist area of Morro Jable. Cost: EUR 9.70.
Line 16 runs between the airport and the capital of the island and the town of Gran Tarajal. Cost: EUR 5.90.
Taxi
Taxis are available in the arrivals area. Always take a taxi from the signed taxi rank at the terminal to avoid taxi drivers offering services from other points.
You will find car hire agencies in the arrivals area of the airport, provided by Cicar, Top Car Auto Reisen, Avis, Hertz, Payless. You can book a car at the airport, or save money by booking online before you travel.
