Taxi

Taxis are available right outside the terminals. Taxi companies often have a fixed price for travel between the airport and Gothenburg and Boras. Always ask the taxi driver if the taxi company uses fixed prices. If you have been given a fixed price it should be entered and visible before the start of the journey. The comparative price is always calculated based on a "typical" journey of 10 km which takes 15 minutes. 

Bus

Flybuss runs between the airport and Gothenburg centre. It takes around 20 minutes to travel by bus. In the centre, there are bus stops at Korsvägen, Kungsportsplasten, Nils Ericson terminal and Park Aveny. At the airport, the buses are located directly outside the check-in hall. Local buses go from Göteborg Landvetter Airport are run by Västtrafik. Swebus Express bus 830 stops daily at the airport when it drives towards Gothenburg and Stockholm. 

Göteborg Landvetter Airport is 20 kilometres east-southeast of Gothenburg, Sweden. The airport has two connected buildings that makeup one terminal. Domestic flights leave from the building on the right while international flights leave from the building on the left. However, all check-in takes place in the international building.

• Menzies Business Lounge, international terminal, airside, next to gate 18. Hours: 5:30-21:15 Mon-Fri, 5:30-19:30 Sat, 5:30-20:30 Sun.
• SAS Lounge, international terminal, airside, next to gate 18. Hours: 5:30-22:30 Sun-Fri, 5:30-19:30 Sat.
• Malmö Aviation Lounge, domestic terminal, airside, opposite gate 16. Hours: 6:00-21:00 Mon-Fri.

You can get married at Göteburg Airport! The wedding takes place in your private VIP room, where you are taken care of by a VIP coordinator. Keep in mind that if you want to get married at the airport you should book well in advance.

You will find car hire agencies in the multi-story car parks, provided by Avis, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz, Sixt and Budget. You can book a car at the airport, or save money by booking online before you travel.

There are special designated chairs in which travellers can relax with classical music before their flight.
