Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport - SHA

Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport is located in the western outskirts of Shanghai, about 13 kilometres from the downtown area. The airport has two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 connected by shuttle buses. Shuttle buses operate every 5-15 minutes and take a few minutes. Pickup at Terminal 1 is at Departure Hall 1, south side of door 6; at Terminal 2 pickup is at the north side of gate 1 in the Arrivals Hall.

Taxi

The taxi rank is located directly outside the terminal. The taxi fare from Hongqio International Airport to People's Square in the city center is around CNY 70 and it takes about 30 minutes. A taxi from Hongqio International Airport to Xujiahui, commercial area in Xuhui district costs approximately CNY 50 and takes 20 minutes. Please note that it is not easy to get a taxi in peak hours.

Metro

Metro line 2 and line 10 connect terminals of the Airport to the city center and futher to Pudong Airport. You can use these two lines to get to Hongqio Railway Station, Yuyuan Garden, People's Square, Nanjing East Road. If you take line 2, you need to get off at Guangian Road Metro Station from a 8-car train and change to a 4-car train to go on to Pudong Airport. 

International Terminal

• First Business Class Lounge, airside, on the 2nd floor, next to B10. 
• Business Class Lounge, airside, next to gate B11. Hours: 6:30-20:30 daily.
• Business Class Lounge, airside, on the 2nd floor, next to gate B12. Hours: 6:45-18:30 daily.
• Shanghai Airport VIP Services Lounge,  airside, next to gate B9. Hours: 5:30-19:30 daily.

Terminal 2

• Golden Century Lounge, on the 3rd floor in the departures area. Hours: 7:00-22:00 daily.
• Shanghai Airport VIP Services Lounge, airside, next to gate 25. Hours: 6:00-22:30 daily.
• Air China First & Business Class Lounge, airside, on the 3rd floor. 
• China Eastern VIP Lounge, airside, on the 3rd floor. Hours: 6:00-last departure.
• China Eastern First & Business Class Lounge, airside, on the 3rd floor. Hours: 6:00-last departure.
• China Southern Sky Pearl VIP Lounge, airside. Hours: 6:00-last departure.
• Air China First & Business Class Lounge, airside, 3rd floor, near gate 36. 

Domestic Terminal

• First Class Lounge,  airside, next to gate 6. Hours: 5:45-21:30 daily.

You can charge your phone in terminal 2 on the departure floor. In addition, plenty of power outlets are available throughout the airport.
