Venezia / Tessera - Marco Polo Airport - VCE

Venice Marco Polo airport is located 8 km north of the city of Venice. It has one main terminal with three levels:

Level 0 is the Arrivals area.
Level 1 is the Departures and check-in desks area. The departure gates area is separated between Schengen and non-Schengen flights. 
Level 2 houses restaurants and shops.

Bus

Cheap, fast and convenient. Autostradale airport shuttle buses take you from Venice Marco Polo Airport to central Venice, Venezia Piazzale Roma. The bus goes approximately every 40 minutes and includes free luggage.

Location: Bus stops are outside the terminal building, easy to spot as you exit from customs.

Water bus

Alilaguna providers regular services to Venice. Its schedule is matched to that of the flights. 

Location: Main Terminal, follow the signs for "Water Transport" you can reach the entrance for the Moving Walkway on the first floor of the terminal, an elevated pedestrian path, realized with moving carpets, that with lead you to the dock.
Cost: EUR 15 one-way, EUR 27 roundtrip 

Water taxi

The most scenic and expensive way to reach the city.  

Cost: Prices starting from EUR 110 single, EUR 35 shared
Buying Ticket: Tickets can be bought on the jetty or to the left across the hall as you exit from customs. 
Location: A covered walkway leads you to the boat departures location, ca. 10-15 minutes.

Taxi

Ranks can be found outside the terminal past the bus stops.
