Getting into Milan
Take the shuttle bus
Milan is over 50 kilometers away from Bergamo airport and taxis can be expensive. The cheapest and most convenient way to get into the city is the Terravision shuttle bus. Trains run from Bergamo rail station, but you will have to get a bus there first.
Bus
Terravision buses run from the airport to Milan city every 20-30 minutes. Journey time is around 60 minutes. (You can also take the Orioshuttle bus, which can be handy if there's a queue for Terravision.)
Cost: EUR 6 one way, EUR 12 return
Location: Arrivals area, bus parking, bus stop no. 1
Buying tickets: On the bus or online before you travel
Tip: Alternatively, you can conveniently purchase your official ticket for Autostradale shuttle buses to Milan city centre here.
Taxi
If you'd rather take a taxi, make sure you take a licensed taxi with a sticker saying 'Taxi autorizzato per il servizio aeropuertale lombardo'. This guarantees that the taxi driver will charge you the standard airport fare. Taxis without this license may charge double. You can also pre-book a taxi here.
