Taxi

The taxi rank is located on the ground floor of the terminal building. The taxi rank is fully undercover and the waiting area is indoors.

Cost:

• to the city centre, AUD 50-60 Mon-Fri, AUD 60-70 all other times
• to Phillip, AUD 70-80 Mon-Fri, AUD 80-90 all other times
• to Belconnen, AUD 90-100 Mon-Fri, AUD 110-120 all other times

Bus

The airport express shuttle bus offers airport-city-airport services daily including other stops: Russell, National Convention Centre. Tickets can be purchased direct from the bus driver, at the car park customer service office located next to the bus stop. Cost: AUD 12 one way, AUD 20 return. 

• Canberra Airport is located in the eastern edge of North Canberra, approximately 8 kilometres from downtown.
• The airport has two wings, a Southern Concourse and a Western Concourse separated by an Atrium. The terminal has two levels with Arrivals on the ground floor and Departures on the upper level.

Car hire agencies are available in the arrivals area of the terminal, next to the buggage claim. The following companies are available: Avis, Budget, East Coast Car Rentals, Europcar and Hertz. 

You can book a car at the airport, or save money by booking online before you travel.

• Qantas Airways The Qantas Club, main terminal, airside, next to gate 11. Hours: 5:00AM-8:30PM Sun-Fri, 5:00AM-7:00PM Sat.
• Qantas Airways Domestic Business Lounge, main terminal, airside. Hours: 5:00AM-8:30PM Sun-Fri, 5:00AM-7:00PM Sat.
• Virgin Australia Lounge, main terminal, airside, thrid level. Hours: first departure - last departure.

• Tuk Chop, departures concourse. Hours: 10:00AM-9:00PM daily
• Hudsons Coffee, departures concourse. Hours: 10:00AM-9:00PM daily
• Limestone Cafe & Bar, departures concourse. Hours: 10:00AM-9:00PM daily
