San Antonio International Airport - SAT

San Antonio International Airport is located in Uptown San Antonio, 8 miles north of Downtown San Antonio.

• San Antonio’s passenger terminal complex has two terminals under one roof, Terminal A and Terminal B.
  The lower level is the Arrivals level with baggage claim and rental car facilities; the upper level is for the A & B ticket counters with separate security checks leading to the respective A and B gates.
• Terminal A has 17 gates while Terminal B contains eight gates.

Bus

VIA Metropolitan Transit bus route 5 runs between the airport and downtown San Antonio in 30 minutes. Buses arrive every 30-60 minutes.

Location: Terminal B, before security, arrivals, lower level, far west end of the terminal
Cost: USD 1.30 one-way, USD 2.75 all-day pass

Shuttle

From the airport, you can take a SuperShuttle to any address in the Greater San Antonio Area 24 hours daily. Shuttles depart every 15 minutes and tickets can be purchased in the baggage claim area.

Location: Outside the terminal building, before security, Level 0, Short Term parking garage
Cost: USD 15 one-way, USD 28 round-trip

Taxi

All taxis are metered and charge an airport departure fee of USD 1.25. Taxis charge a late hour fee of USD 1 from 21:00-05:00. 

Location: Terminal A, before security, arrivals, outer commercial curbside
Cost: USD 24-29 to downtown and USD 12 to hotels in the airport area

• United Airlines United Club, terminal B, airside, between gates B3 and B5. Hours: 4:30AM-6:45PM daily.
• USO Lounge, terminal B, next to baggage area. Hours: 8:00AM-10:00 PM daily. 

You will find car hire agencies in the baggage claim area of the airport, provided by Avis, Budget, Dollar, Hertz, Enterprise and National. You can book a car at the airport, or save money by booking online before you travel.
