San Antonio International Airport is located in Uptown San Antonio, 8 miles north of Downtown San Antonio.
San Antonio’s passenger terminal complex has two terminals under one roof, Terminal A and Terminal B. The lower level is the Arrivals level with baggage claim and rental car facilities; the upper level is for the A & B ticket counters with separate security checks leading to the respective A and B gates.
Terminal A has 17 gates while Terminal B contains eight gates.
VIA Metropolitan Transit bus route 5 runs between the airport and downtown San Antonio in 30 minutes. Buses arrive every 30-60 minutes.

Shuttle
From the airport, you can take a SuperShuttle to any address in the Greater San Antonio Area 24 hours daily. Shuttles depart every 15 minutes and tickets can be purchased in the baggage claim area.

Taxi
All taxis are metered and charge an airport departure fee of USD 1.25. Taxis charge a late hour fee of USD 1 from 21:00-05:00.
Location: Terminal A, before security, arrivals, outer commercial curbside Cost: USD 24-29 to downtown and USD 12 to hotels in the airport area
You will find car hire agencies in the baggage claim area of the airport, provided by Avis, Budget, Dollar, Hertz, Enterprise and National. You can book a car at the airport, or save money by booking online before you travel.
