As the travel hub for many holiday resorts, you could be going to a variety of places from Gran Canaria airport. The most popular destination is the island's capital, Las Palmas. Buses are cheap and efficient, however, for more comfort (and expense), take a taxi straight to your door.
Bus
There are eight buses leaving the airport, leaving from Departures, Level 1. The most commonly used routes are:
Route 60 to Parque de San Telmo station in Las Palmas. Buses leave twice an hour from 06:00-21:00 and then every hour until 23:15. Cost: EUR 2.30.
Route 66 to Faro de Maspalomas. Buses leave every hour from 07:20-20:20. Cost: EUR 4.05.
Route 5 to Las Palmas and Faro de Maspalomas. Runs every hour from 21:00-03:00, and at 05:20. Cost: Up to EUR 4.05.
Route 1 to Puerto de Mogan. Buses leave every 20 minutes from 05:25 to 23:20. Cost: EUR 6.80.
Taxi
There are ranks outside Arrivals. The fare to Las Palmas is around EUR 30 and about EUR 50 to resorts in the south.
