Kahului Airport is the Maui's main airport. You can get around Maui by shuttle, tour bus, taxi or public transport.
Taxi
Kahului Airport Taxi Service is managed by Robert’s Tours & Transportation. The metered rate is USD 3 per mile.

Buses
There are two buses which stop at Kahului Airport. Bus Route 35 Haiku Islander and Bus Route 40 Upcountry Islander. Route 35 connects the airport with Paia and Haiku, while Route 40 connects Pukalani, Makawao and Haliimaile to the airport. Both bus routes operate seven days a week, including all holidays.

Shuttle
The Maui Airport Shuttle Service offers services between the airport and Maui's lodging properties throughout Honokawai, Ka’anapali, Kahana, Kahului, Kihei, Lahaina, Makena, Napili and Wailea. The shuttle counter is located in the baggage claim area of the airport and no reservations are needed. Passengers are allowed two bags and a personal carry on. Additional luggage is USD 5 per item.

Kahului Airport lies 4.5km east of the centre of Kahului on the island of Maui, Hawaii.
The airport has one main terminal with two levels: the ground floor houses the ticketing lobby, USDA agricultural inspection and baggage claim and the first level houses the departure gates, a restaurant and a café.
The main passenger is divided into two areas, north and south. The south area houses Gates 1-16 and the north area houses Gates 17-39.
You can rent a car in the car rental building, connected to the baggage claim area by walkway. The following car hire agencied are available: Avis, Alamo, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz and National.
You can book a car at the airport, or save money by booking online before you travel.
