Getting around the airport

LBA

Leeds Bradford Airport is located in Yeadon, around 12km north-west of the city of Leeds and north-east of Bradford, and 20km south-west of Harrogate. It's a base for Monarch Airlines, Jet2.com and Ryanair.

The airport has one terminal building, with Check-in, security and Arrivals on the ground floor and Departures and passport control on the first floor. There's a small selection of shops and cafés to keep you occupied and fed, with most facilities airside - such as a new shopping and dining area on the first floor.

While it's a small airport, there have been reports of long walks within the terminal and to aircraft, and queues at security.

Due to its elevation (681m, the highest airport in the UK), it can suffer from delays due to fog.
