Bus
The Airport-Downtown Express (E-2) bus runs a 50-minute route between the airport and downtown New Orleans, via Airline Drive. Buses run every 15-60 minutes depending on the time of day.

Shuttle
Shuttle service is available from the airport to the hotels in the central business district. The airport shuttle fare includes three bags per person. Additional baggage may be subject to additional fees. Passengers can purchase tickets at the Airport Shuttle ticket booths located on the first level throughout the Baggage Claim area.

Taxi
The taxi fare to downtown includes up to two passengers, every additional passenger will be USD 15. Taxis are required to offer a credit card payment option.

New Orleans is well known for their beignets. A beignet is a small pocket of dough that can be filled or not, which is deepfried and served with powdered sugar. Like a donut but better. Try them right in the airport at West Beignet.
West Beignet Location: landside, western terminal area, next to Delta counter Opening hours: 05:00-20:00 daily
You will find car hire agancies in the Car Rental Facility, which is located in a separate building close to councourses B and C. The following car hire companies are available: Avis, Alamo, Dollar, Hertz, Enterprise, Thirfty and National. You can book a car at the airport, or save money by booking online before you travel.
There are a lot of mobile charging stations available throughout the airport. Besides, there are "Mobile Qubes" in concourse B and C where you can charge your phone.

Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport offers free Wi-Fi in the airport terminal's main level, which includes most gates, sitting areas and food courts. Wi-Fi access is also available through Boingo on Concourse B in the food court area between Gates B5 and B7 and on Concourse D at Gates D7-D12.
