Getting into Oslo
Train is best
The train may be more expensive than the bus, but it's high speed and will shorten your journey into the city.
Train
The Flytoget Airport Express Train runs every 10 minutes to Oslo S station (Oslo Central Station) and takes 20 minutes. If you don’t want to queue to buy a ticket, you can just swipe your credit/debit card at the gates to get through.
Location: Gardermoen Station, below the terminal
Cost: NOK 190 one-way or NOK 392 round-trip; children under 16 ride for free
Bus
Several buses are available to reach the Oslo city center and other cities around. The Airport Express Coach (SAS Flybussen) runs between Oslo Airport and Oslo city centre every 20 minutes.
Location: Main Terminal, before security, arrivals
Cost: NOK 179 one-way or NOK 260 round-trip
Taxi
Taxi fares from the airport vary a lot, depending on the time of day and taxi company. Also, the airport is around 50 km out of the city so a taxi ride is bound to be pricey. Always agree on a fare beforehand, or go to the taxi information desk in the Arrivals area of the terminal to find out more about fixed fares. The taxi information desk can also book a taxi for you.
Location: Main Terminal, before security, arrivals
Cost: Around NOK 610 before 17:00, NOK 720 after 17:00
