Platov International Airport is located 29 km northeast of Rostov-on-Don and 15 km north-west of city Novocherkassk.
The terminal complex consists of one main passenger terminal on three levels:
First level - luggage claim area, check-in desks, passport control, and luggage storage and pharmacy Second level - Passport and pre-flight control and baby care room Third level - Boarding gates, passport control, the point of inspection and business rooms and duty-free shops.
There are two main routes that connect the airport with Rostov-on-Don:
1. Route №285 Airport Platov - Privokzalnaya Square of Rostov-on-Don 2. Route № 286 Airport Platov - October Square of Rostov-on-Don
The journey time on both routes take up to one hour, running every 30-40 minutes, depending on the day and traffic.
Costs: RUB 95 from Privokzalnaya Square, RUB 75 from Oktyabrskaya Square
Taxi
Aeroservis company is the official taxi provider at the airport. You can order a taxi by phone or at the taxi counter located in the domestic arrivals area of the airport.
