San Diego International Airport is located 3 miles northwest of downtown San Diego. It is also known as the Lindbergh airport. The airport has two active terminals: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
Both terminals are served by accessible and free Red Bus shuttles. They run every 10 minutes from the transit islands across from baggage carousels on the ground level.
Terminal 1 has Gates 1-18 and serves Southwest Airlines, Frontier Airlines and Alaska Airlines. Outside of Terminal 1 is a Skybridge to parking, ground transportation, and passenger pick-up drop-off.
Terminal 2 has Gates 20-51 and serves British Airlines, Delta Airlines, Japan Airlines, and Air Canada.
Domestic arrivals can transfer between East and West Wings of their respective terminals.
International Arrivals are at Terminal 2, unless you have completed U.S. border clearance at your originating airport.
Smarte Carte baggage carts are available for rent at USD 5 per cart. Note that carts are free for arriving international passengers clearing customs at the airport.
San Diego International Airport offers free Wi-Fi for two-hour sessions. If you need more time, simply log back in for another free, two-hour session.
A bus to and from the airport is available on Route 992. The bus stops at Terminal 1 and 2 every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes on weekends and holidays. The trip takes 20-30 minutes depending on the traffic.

Taxi
Many taxi companies offer services between the airport. Follow signs leading to transportation plazas and a coordinator will place you with the first available.

FuelRod mobile device charging kiosks are available at San Diego airport. One has been reported in Terminal 2 West, but other exact locations are unavailable.
On January 20th, 2016 the new Rental Car has been opened. It is located at the airport’s north side and houses 10 agencies on site.
Free and dedicated car rental shuttles operate regularly at Terminal 1 centre traffic aisle and at the traffic island at the far west end of Terminal 2 (outside baggage claim).
Get a behind the scenes tour of San Diego airport. Free tours of the airport, runway, endangered species areas, and public area are available. Tours are two hours long and offered on Thursdays at 13:00 and Fridays at 10:00. Submit a request form online.
